Jimmy is a medical student at the UCSF School of Medicine and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University '16 with a degree in Biological Sciences.
In college, he co-founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to build inclusive schools for disabled students in Haiti. Jimmy also worked with student-run venture capital funds and accelerators to support the growth of early stage companies being spun out of university environments. Following graduation, Jimmy spent two years at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School developing biotechnologies to assess CRISPR-Cas gene editing safety.
